Ranmore Rise is a Boutique Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of the Surrey Hills with spectacular, panoramic views of the North Downs and Box Hill.
We are located in a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty and even though we are surrounded by the most beautiful countryside, we are also close to civilisation! There is a shop and lovely pub serving lunch and dinner, just a five minute walk down the road. The charming market town of Dorking is just over a mile away with its antique shops, boutiques, art and craft stores, jewellers, theatre/cinema and cafes/restaurants.
The delightful chocolate box villages of Shere, Abinger Hammer and Gomshall are just a few miles away and there are plenty of other attractions nearby too including Denbies Vineyard, a micro brewery, trout farm, fishery, the Silent Pool gin distillery, 3 National Trust stately homes, botanical gardens, and golf courses. We are also well placed for Heathrow and Gatwick, both around 30 minutes away, and you can reach London, as well as the coast in just 50 minutes by car or train.
Hikers and bikers, the area is renowned for having some of the best trails in the country. Bikers, you can hire bikes from the store down the road. Hikers you can access trails from our doorstep! Just walk through our garden gate and you will find yourself straight on The Greensand Way which stretches some 108 miles!. You can walk/run/cycle through the most beautiful scenery.
